These are most common causes for poor performance, frequent disconnects or screen freezes and their respective fixes:
- You have very little "Download" or "Upload" bandwidth.
(Click here to detect your Download and Upload bandwidth) - There is spyware installed on your computer.
(Learn how to detect and fix this problem) - Your Desktop Wallpaper (background picture) is too detailed. Please remove it to increase performance.
- Your bandwidth is too limited to send your screen at 32-bit or 24-bit colors. Lower it to 16-bit by Right-clicking on your desktop, select Properties, choose Settings, and set the colors to 16-bit.
- A program is interfering with your Internet connection. Try shutting down any programs which may connect to the Internet. (e.g. Windows Update, Norton Antivirus, ZoneAlarm)
- Your computer has run out of resources:
Try rebooting the computer. This will free up memory and network ports on your computer. Only load the programs you need for your conference.
- The easiest way to prevent echoes when using the "Talk" feature, is to disable the "Auto" (hands-free) option located to the left of the "Talk" button.
- Only use the "Auto" feature is you have head sets. Standard microphones will pick up the audio signals from the speakers and re-send these signals into the conference room, creating an endless loop of echoes.
- Watch the "Configuring your VOIP Settings Video"

There are 2 reasons for this:
- The previous session was not terminated properly. Next time, please use the "End Conference" button on the WebConference screen instead of closing the browser window.
(or)
- Someone else is currently using your account. If this is the case, you may contact us to change your username and password.
This happens when the software did not have enough resources to continue the conference, usually memory, cpu usage, or network ports. Reboot your computer and only open the programs necessary to host or participate in a conference. If the problem persists, try disabling anti-virus software and programs that use internet bandwidth such as ICQ, MSN-AOL-Yahoo Messenger, etc.
The most common cause of this issue is that you did not allow the use of your webcam and microphone for the conference. The Screen Sharing feature is a webcam-like feature, so it is important to allow Flash to use attached webcams and microphones.
To allow
- Right-click on an empty area of the conference window and choose "Settings..."

- Click "Allow" and then click "Close"
